I would like to sincerely thank Fr Roch for his gracious hospitality throughout this time and for ministry opportunities, including preaching, service at Masses, most recently including service at Spanish Masses, presiding at Weekly Holy Hour, presiding at Communion Services, presiding at Baptisms, Ministry to the Sick, Infirm, and Dying, Assisting with Adult Faith formation and more. I would also like to thank him for his gracious guidance and generous patience in helping me grow as a Deacon.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank all those parishioners who generously supported me in various ways during my formation for the Diaconate and then as a Deacon assigned to this parish.
Effective January 1, 2023, I have taken a three-month leave of absence (Sabbatical) from my Diaconal Service. I will always be thankful to God for the time he has given me at St Mary’s, and I will continue to pray for this parish. Please see the bulletin or parish website for updated contact information for those parishioners who may wish to keep in contact with me.
Peace & Blessings be with all of you this Christmas season! Reverend Deacon Matthew (Matt) Yurksaitis
